Silken Axis Vigo Hotel

The restaurant here was great with friendly staff, we both ordered warm dishes: )

Local food in the restaurant for breakfast for flexible diets. Themed, well-appointed rooms in good condition. Excellent value hotel in Vigo, perfect location few metres away from Castro Fortress.

Beds were uncomfortable.

The room was really good for the price and the breakfast was included (it was nothing special, but it's better than nothing)

Staff is always very helpful and polite. Modern decoration of rooms.

Completely inadequate floors in the rooms amply noise from footsetps. It was impossible to sleep because of this.

The Hotel Axis Vigo is a new hotel opened I think in 2010 so everything is new and modern.The location is good in the centre of the city not far from the port on a slight hill.Our room was really smart with a plasma T.V. on the wall and a very modern bathroom.Staff very friendly.

It is a modern and fashion hotel located at the downtown of the city . We felt very good in it.

Modern and clean hotel for a good price. Friendly personell and good location. Normally I don't fill in the questionaire but I was suprised in a positive way so these guys deserve it.

We wanted to have breakfast at 07:30h but nothing was ready when we arrived. It was around 08:00h that everything was available. Maybe it was an incident.The variety of what was offered was looking good though.

The hotel's modern design was good, with accessible areas, made wandering around easy. I felt welcomed by the inviting atmosphere that reminded me of a charming café.

More variety in breakfast options would be nice.

Modern decoration, helpful staff, but still some details to be improved regarding comfort since it seems it was inaugurated in a hurry.

The spacious room provided a peaceful night's sleep, and the nearby beaches were a highlight. The poor breakfast experience, with unclean tables and minimal food options, was disappointing. The location, though central, posed challenges for larger vehicles due to narrow streets.

Very friendly staff, clean and stylish hotel. I am back in Vigo in few months and I will be staying there again.

I spent 5 nights in the hotel and I ate in the restaurant most evenings. The food was very good but every evening they had the same Bryan Adams CD playing in a loop. There is only so many times you want to hear some songs over dinner.

Axis is a new and modern hotel with a nice appearance. The rooms are clean. The location is in a quite street, in the center of the city.

The reason why I decided to choose Axis this time was because I wanted to try out a different hotel. Usually, I stay in Hotel "Ciudad de Vigo" It appeared that Axis is of the same owners. Reason why I abandaned the Ciudad is because of the lack of a properly working airconditioning in the room. Now, the same story was happening in the Axis. So I will try a different hotel when I am in Vigo the next time.

We loved exploring the nearby Old Town and enjoyed drinks at the El Muelle bar-terrace with live music. The hotel was super comfy and offered a good price-quality relation. The paid parking was a nice bonus, as it was cheaper than public options.

The breakfast was overpriced for what it offered. We decided to eat elsewhere to save some cash and find better options.
